Project Superstar
I was an avid follower of the first Project Superstar, partly because one of the contestants (Hong Junyang) is my colleague's son, and JJ Lin is the nephew of another colleague as well. In addition, the program was truly entertaining and the contestants do have the vocals, in addition to not too bad looks. I even went to the Indoor Stadium to catch the finals live at that time, ticket courtesy of JJ Lin's aunty. I can't say I have the same enthusiasm now for Project Superstar 2 (more because I am so bogged down in the office most of the time). I only managed to catch one episode last Wednesday.
The 4 finalists from the first Project Superstar each has their own album by now, the latest to the list being 石欣卉. I have bought Kelly's, JY's and Xinhui's albums. I decided to support these 3 finalists as each of them has their own singing style and they are equally good. Though Weilian is not bad, I don't really enjoy his style of singing and hence I didnt buy his album. During the competition, I had voted for Weilian though, as he was truly better than some of the contestants that he was up against.
Of the 3 albums, I preferred JY's and Xinhui's. Here's one song from Xinhui's album. I tried to post a few more songs but kept facing problem. Give up!
